Our Story
It all started with a cowboy hat.
I was just a kid, but that hat was my identity—freedom, courage, doing things my own way. Eventually, the hat changed. Snapbacks took over. But that feeling? It stuck.
The problem was, most of what’s out there now feels hollow. Loud graphics. Empty messaging. No real soul. I wanted to support a hat brand—outside of my favorite sports team—that represented how I saw the world.
I couldn't find one, so I built my own.

I grew up in Colorado, where city lines ran straight into open land. Weekdays were classrooms—weekends were foothills where cowboys used to ride and the buffalo roamed. It didn’t take much to feel real back then. Freedom was just beyond the fenceline.
The cowboy life always had a grip on me. Not because of the hat, but because of how they moved through the world. Cowboys know the ride will be rough—but they saddle up anyway. Somewhere along the way, society tried to steer us away from that. Selling comfort over curiosity. Pushing convenience and calling it living. Times have changed, but the Cowboy's remained the same.

Being an Urban Cowboy isn’t about escaping your life—it’s about remembering how to live a real one. The algorithm will always be there. But time? That’s the one thing you never get back.
Whether you’re saddling up a horse or kicking the moped into gear, it’s the same idea: lean into the unknown and let the wind remind you you’re alive—even if it’s just for the short ride home.
That spirit runs through every hat we make—rooted in the Old West, reworked for modern life.
Get up, get out, and get buck wild.
Thanks for riding with me.
